HydroLinX® Antifoam Emulsion

HydroLinX® Antifoam Emulsion is a defoaming agent for cell culture. Its main active ingredient is polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). The raw material is LiveoTM Q7-2587 30% simethicone emulsion (USP). After dilution with WFI, the emulsion maintains a stable water-in-oil structure through controlled emulsification and is then packaged into single-use storage bags or bottles. The product is irradiated and sterilized (effective sterilization dose: 25KGy-40KGy) to provide a sterility assurance level of more than 10-6 .

Defoaming performance meets the USP standard of less than 15s at 50ppm. The product complies with the pharmacopoeia standards and a compliant COA is provided. HydroLinX® Antifoam Emulsion can effectively control foam, ensuring the stability and high efficiency of cell culture. Its working principles are as follows:

•   Rapid defoaming: Eliminates the foam by destroying the surface tension of the foam.

•   Long-lasting stability: Form a stable antifoaming layer to prevent foam regeneration.

•   Strong compatibility: Good compatibility with various culture medium and cell lines, without affecting the growth and function of cells.
