MaXtar® Protein G Affinity Chromatography Resins

MaXtar® Protein G is an affinity chromatography resin prepared by conjugating Protein G to a MaXtar® matrix. Protein G can bind to the Fc region of a variety of mammalian IgGs, and also exhibits a weaker affinity for Fab region.

Protein G exhibits a broader binding spectrum than Protein A. Therefore, MaXtar® Protein G can be used to separate and purify immunoglobulins and their fragments from different liquid samples (such as cell culture medium or serum). MaXtar® Protein G can also be used to isolate immune complexes.
